November 2009 Fin is current top PWD, Jodie is Current Top Bitch and Bregantia and Rarjo are confirmed as Top Breeders 2009
There are only 14 Challenge Certificate on offer throughout the year in the UK and Bregantia and Rarjo PWDs have won half of them.
Aug 2009 At the Welsh Kennel Club Championship Show Fin wins his 2nd Challenge Certificate and again wins BOB he then took group 3 in the Working Group.
At Leeds where we only have one Challenge Certificate on offer Alfie wins his 3rd making him a Champion.
July 2009 At National Working & Pastoral Breeds Championship Show Alfie wins his 2nd Challenge Certificate and Jodie wins her 5th and Takes BOB.
July 2009 Jodie, Rico and Fin are all Optigen tested. Jodie is Clear, Rico and Fin are both Carriers.
May 2009 At the Scottish Kennel Club Championship show we had the most wonderful day when Fin took the Dog Challenge Certificate (his First) and Best of Breed, while Jodie took her fourth Challenge Certificate and Best Opposite Sex. Teal also took the Reserve Challenge Certificate with Alfie winning Open Dog.
May 2009 Jodie is awarded her 3rd Challenge Certificate and is now a Champion. Jodie is the youngest PWD to gain her title in the UK at just 2 years 3 months.
On April 4th 2009 Jodie was invited to take part in the Canine Supporters Charity, Contest of Champion show Dogs. 64 of the top dogs in the uk are invited to take part. The contest was judged on the match system and Jodie did us proud by making it through to the 3rd round and the last 16 dogs.
After a fantastic year Jodie (Rarjo She's The One) is the Top PWD in the UK for 2008.
September 2008 Jodie wins her second Challenge Certificate at the Portuguese Water Dog Club of GB Championship she also went Best in Show
September 2008 Rico's Hip scores arrive 8:3=11
August 2008 our first group placing at a championship show. Jodie wins group 3 at the Scottish Kennel Club. The first group placing for a PWD bitch in the UK.
July 2008 Jodie wins her 1st Challenge Certificate at National Working and Pastoral Breeds Association Championship show in fact Bregantia and Rarjo dogs won Bitch CC, Bitch RCC, DRCC and Best Puppy in Breed and Working Puppy Group 2. A very good day.

On Friday 9th March 2007 Crufts dog show had Mrs C Molinari (Breed Specialist from Portugal) Judging and Giving CCs for the first time. The First CC was awarded to Bregantia The X Factor at Winterkloud. He then went on to Best of Breed and was placed fourth in the Working Group. This is a historic day and we are proud to have bred the history making PWD. See Alfie on 'Our Team' page
2007 the Portuguese Water Dog gains Champion Status. This means that The PWD can now become a Champion in the UK. Our first set of CCs will be awarded at Crufts.
Amy has had her puppies.
Alfies hip results have been received and he is 2:3=5. We are very pleased with this result.
Amy has been mated to Alfie and we hope to see puppies at the end of January 2007
Alfie will be having his hips scored on 9th November 2006.
